Built-to-order crate axles from Currie Enterprises (Rock Jock 44/60) and Ten Factory let you skip junkyard hunting and get exactly what you want, expensive but pristine.

Currie Enterprises and Ten Factory build complete crate axles to your specifications. You order the axle with your choice of:

Currie Rock Jock 44 front: $4500-6500. The premium choice for 35-37" tire XJ builds. Built on a Dana 44 housing with all the upgrades.

Ten Factory crate D44 or D60: $3000-7000 depending on options. Slightly cheaper than Currie, similar quality.

These crate axles are most appealing for builders who:

The trade-off is price. A crate Rock Jock 44 front + 8.8 rear with similar prep can run $6000-9000 total. The same job from salvage axles + DIY can be done for $1500-3000.

For competition rock crawling or high-end builds where bulletproof reliability matters, crate axles are worth the cost.
