About resale impact estimates

These are rough heuristics — what the off-road community broadly observes, not guarantees. Suspension and axle mods add some market value on off-road-focused platforms (like Craigslist 4x4 listings) but rarely dollar-for-dollar. Engine and trans work can add value for documented work; purely cosmetic mods often add nothing. Maintenance adds nothing to asking price but protects buyer confidence. Actual impact depends heavily on your market, the buyer, and how the work was done.

The purpose of tracking resale impact here is to give you a realistic sense of where your money goes, not to suggest you'll get it back. Most builds are money spent because you want to drive them, not investments.
