Jeep Grand Cherokee WK · 2005–2010
The IFS Grand Cherokee.
The controversial pivot — Jeep traded the WJ's solid front axle for independent front suspension. Purists revolted. But the WK got a Hemi option, a CRD diesel, and the unhinged 6.1L SRT8. Quadra-Drive II with electronic limited-slip diffs front and rear made it surprisingly capable for an IFS rig — and the V8 platforms are now cheap.
