Most JT owners want to keep the hitch receiver for towing — the JT is rated to tow up to 7,650 lbs depending on powertrain — and not all aftermarket rear bumpers include a receiver tube or position it at the same height as the factory unit. Verify hitch integration before ordering. Backup camera retention is similarly variable: some bumpers include a camera relocation bracket; others require you to delete the camera or source an aftermarket mount.
