The KM3 is BFG's modern MT — aggressive on rocks, quieter than older MTs, popular for rock-crawl-leaning XJs.
The KM3 is BFG's modern mud terrain — much improved over the KM2 with revised tread for better wet/rocky-surface bite, stiffer sidewall, and a quieter highway demeanor (for an MT). For an XJ that sees more rock and mud than highway, the KM3 in 33x12.50R15 or 33x10.50R15 is a popular pick.
It wears faster than the KO2 (~30k–40k mi typical) and is noticeably louder on highway. Not severe-snow rated. The sidewall pattern hooks rocks well when aired down.
