Bronco II Trail Tool Packing Guide

The Bronco II's Twin Traction Beam front suspension is capable and fragile in equal measure. The ball joints that make it work are the same ones that fail without warning. Pack to that reality.

Bronco II Tool Additions

The base kit below handles any rig. The Bronco II adds tools that address the TTB front suspension directly โ€” specifically the upper ball joint, which is the most consequential failure point on the platform. Without the C-clamp setup on board, an upper joint failure is a flatbed call. With it, you're back on the trail in under an hour.

Pack Strategy

The C-clamp ball joint setup is the most important thing on this list โ€” it's what lets you replace an upper TTB ball joint on trail instead of calling for a flatbed. Keep it accessible, not buried under gear. The vacuum cap plugs are small and should live in your electrical kit alongside the fuse assortment.

Base Kit โ€” All Vehicles

This is the foundation that goes into any trail rig regardless of platform. The Bronco II tool additions above layer on top of this.
