Trail Tool Packing Guides

One shared base kit. Then vehicle-specific additions based on known failure points. Not a generic list β€” tools matched to what actually breaks on each rig.

The philosophy

Every rig shares a universal base kit β€” the tools that handle the problems any 4x4 can throw at you on a trail. What differs is what you add on top: an XJ driver needs extra cooling system parts; a TJ driver needs to think about the NP231 and specific front axle hardware. The vehicle guides cover those additions. This page covers the foundation.

Universal Base Kit

This is the floor. Every rig, every trail β€” this kit covers the problems that don't care what you're driving. Print it, pack it, check it before the trip. Vehicle-specific additions are listed in each vehicle's dedicated guide.
