RockKrawler's XJ long arm is a premium 3-link/4-link system using their Krawler Joint flex joints and triple-rate coils.
RockKrawler builds an XJ long arm system using their Pro-X Krawler Joints (greaseable rebuildable flex joints) and triple-rate coils. Available in 4.5" and 5.5" heights. The system is engineered for hard wheeling; lower arms are made from 2" DOM tubing and the crossmember is heavy gauge steel.
The RockKrawler kit's standout feature is the rebuildable Pro-X Krawler Joints. Unlike Johnny joints (which are rebuildable but noisy) or polyurethane (which wear out), the Krawler Joints offer high misalignment, are rebuildable, and run quieter than typical johnny joints. Triple-rate coils provide an excellent ride. Expect $3500-4800 for the kit.
Downsides: heavy, expensive, and the crossmember sits lower than the original. Build quality is excellent. RockKrawler customer support is good. The kit's geometry is set up for serious trail use, so on-highway manners are slightly behind Clayton.
